As members of the Associated Colleges of the South, Spelman faculty are eligible to apply for small grants to
explore new possibilities, expanding their background and skills, and to take advantage of opportunities not otherwise made available on the campuses and for which other funds are not available.
Grants are available in the areas of Blended Learning and Faculty Advancement. Individual and departmental grants are capped at $3,000., projects involving more than one department at $7,500 and projects involving two or more ACS institutions at $12,000. OSP can assist grant-seekers in identifying collaborators at other ACS institutions.
The pre-proposal must be emailed to email@example.com by September 11 and must include
- proposal cover sheet
- project description (250-500 words)
- a simple budget
Full proposals are due November 20, 2014.
Internal clearance is not required for pre-proposals. However, faculty are asked to copy OSP when submitting their pre-proposals to ACS.
