I am pleased to announce three new additions to the Office of Sponsored Programs.
Our new Post-award Grant Specialist, Mrs. Chandra Byrd Chambliss, is a 2012 graduate of Spelman who has worked in the office of Research Resources for the last decade. She will oversee existing grants, assisting project directors with management and reporting. In addition, she will coordinate various research compliance activities, including the review of Human Subjects protocols.
Contracted through AppleOne Employment Agency, Ms. Fanisha Gallon comes to us from Benedict College where she supported various offices including Sponsored Programs and Student Success. As OSP Program and Data Coordinator, she will oversee both OSP record management and event planning as well as being the first point of contact for the office.
Ms. Keonte’ Lee is a junior political science major at Spelman and future lawyer! As OSP office assistant, she is scanning grant files, researching new opportunities and helping with the department blog.
Please join me in welcoming this new team!
